He was predeceased by: his parent Adrian Coolen; his spouse Jean; his child Marlene Coolen; his siblings, Harry Coolen and Anne VandenTillaart; and also Alida.
He is survived by: his parent Wilhelmina Coolen (Garenfeld); and his children, Andrew Coolen (Nancy) of Toronto, Derek Coolen of Toronto, Jeff Coolen (Marianne) of Wellandport, Mark Coolen (Nicole) of St. Thomas and Shawn Coolen (Julie) of Chatham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
