He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven MacKenzie and Edith MacKenzie (Callaghan); his grandson Brandon; his siblings, Adrienne, Sylvia, Donna, Murdoch, Robert and Michael; and his siblings-in-law, Don, Howard, Bob, Erwin, Johnny, Carl, Leslie, Jean, Karen, Betty and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his significant other Bettylou; his children, John MacKenzie (Jay) and Jenny MacKenzie (Dean); his grandchildren, Bailey (Josh), Zack, Alex, Shianne (Marvin) and Saida (Andrew); his great grandchild Nova; his sisters, Patti Leil (Allison), Thorburn, Diane Murray, Stellarton, Pauline Finlayson, Ormstown, Que, Edie MacKenzie of Vancouver, B. C., Ana Pereira (Leonid) and Ohio; his aunt Marie Belland of Antigonish, N. S.; his siblings' children, Michelle, Denise and Bobby of Ontario; and his sisters-in-law, Cindy MacKenzie (Ben) and Judy Sutherland (Bob).
