Caroline Spurr wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Sue and family, I was saddened to hear of J.B.’s passing. I will always hold fond memories of him as he graciously hosted my aunt (Lorraine), mother (Diane), and I in Ireland. He was a beam of positive energy, and the best tour guide we could’ve asked for. He was so meticulous in his baking, which I really admired about him. Let me tell you, I’ve never had better tiramisu in my entire life. Sending you and your family love during this time. Sincerely, Caroline Spurr”

Donna Lynn & Brittany Hewitt wrote a sympathy message

“We are devastated by the passing of our absolute best friend. Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting JB, knows he was sweet, kind, giving, funny, quirky, inquisitive and full of a childlike zeal for life. He was absolutely one of the best human beings we have ever known and we have been privileged to share most of our adult life in adventure with him. We share with Sue and family, in the pain of his loss. Our world will be sadder and oh so empty without him. DL & BL Hewitt”
