He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Carl Stanton Stevenson and Norma Hambrick Stevenson; and his siblings, Jean van der Tak and Stanton.
He is survived by: his children, John (Sher Bovay), Louise (Paul Stock) and Sarah (David Schorr); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Fraser, Lindsay and Katie.
