He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Ellen and Mary Ellen (Mcguire); his wife Valerie Clarkson; his sister Catharine (Louis Egerton); his niece Catherine Egerton (Cathy); and his nephews, Jim and Paul Egerton.

He is survived by : his sister Marie Greenslade; and his nieces and nephews, Bernie, Theresa, Peter, Mary Lou, Anne and John.

Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only.

In Jack's memory donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
