He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Haberer and Vera Haberer; his wife Ellen Rhodes Haberer of Fayetteville; his children, Sarah (Craig), Stephen (Nancy) and Elizabeth (Timothy); his grandchildren, Charles (Rebecca), John, Maggie, Joshua, Emily, Vaughn and Alyssa; his nephew Mark; and his niece Anne Wettlaufer.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel (1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON M4S2N4).
