It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hilaire Thibault (Toronto, Ontario), born in Gaspé, Québec, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odile Thibault and Napoleon Thibault. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Sylvia (Brian), John Robert (Linda) and Cindy (Mitch); and his siblings, Donat (Lily), Vince (Rose), Yvon (Judy), Henri (Marg), Rita (George), Rolande (Ernest), Raymonde (Ernest Jean), Gilberte (Herbert) and Yvette (Fortunat).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home (2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5).
