He was predeceased by: his son Morgan Leithwood; and his sisters, Dorothy Boyer (Reg) and Lorretta Gary Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Leithwood; his children, B. J. Leithwood (Kelly), Michelle Acorn (Ryan) and Nicole Garcia Gonzalez (Iran); his grandchildren, Victoria, Caitlin, Emily, Aria and Hunter; his sister-in-law Cathie Comte (Bruce); and his siblings, Donna Rose (Rick), Rob Leithwood, Bonnie Leithwood, Patricia Jobe (Wayne), Terry Leithwood and Tom Leithwood. He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home (1939 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (131 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1N3J7). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 258 (305 Morrish Rd, Scarborough, ON M1C1E9).
