He is survived by: his wife Marta Isabel of Paz; his children, Randy Allan Upton, Catherine Hamby and Jim Upton; his stepchildren, Betty of Paz Ureña, Patty Borg, Frida Vella, Armando of Paz and Alex of Paz; and his sister Fae Hickerson.
