He was predeceased by : his wife Theresa. He is survived by : his children, John (Rosemary) and Linda (Gary); his grandchildren, Christopher, Mark, Kelly (Neil), Brian and Laura; his great grandchildren, Aleks, Finlay and Theo; his siblings, Ilka and Gusti; and his sister-in-law Mary (Joe).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel (2058 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4J9). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 ON-27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
