He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Smith and Vera May Hurford Smith; and his daughter Mindy Lamb (Tommie). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Lee; his close friend Cheryl; his brother Roderick Charles Smith; Robert Smith (Sunghee), Timothy Smith (Tracy), Michelle Hillyard (Tyler), Kimberly McPeek (Kevin), Heidi Cosseboom (Bruce), April Duggins (Travis) and Heather Winters (Andrew). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - St. Johns Stake Center (2000 W Cleveland St, St Johns, AZ 85936). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, St. Johns Stake Center (2000 W Cleveland St, St Johns, AZ 85936).
