He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Raymond and Kathleen Raymond (Wilson); his daughter Pat (Enid); his brother Clarke; and his siblings-in-law, Mary, Marg Raymond, Shirley Ferrier, Graeme, James Ferrier and Colin Hersh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn and Janet; his sons-in-law, David Rider and Gord Nixon; his siblings, Anne Hersh and Matt Raymond; and his grandchildren, James (Michaela) of Gorter, Katie Barker (Adam), Andrew Rider (Meghan), Sarah Rider, Gord Rider (Robyn), Matthew Rider (Olivia), Jackie Gowdy (Simon), Trish Nixon (Tobias) and Tim Nixon (Tori). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will be held at Humber Valley United Church, 76 Anglesey Blvd, Etobicoke on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in Jack's memory may do so to The Princess Margaret Hospital (https://thepmcf.ca), in appreciation of the exceptional care provided to him and his family.
