He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Alves Ferreira and Leonor Goncalves Gomes Ferreira. He is survived by: his wife Maria Carmina Meneses Ferreira; his children, Fatima Ferreira (Joao Paradinha) and Charlie Ferreira (Janice Lycoyretzos); his grandchildren, Simon Paradinha, Vanessa Ferreira and Anthony Ferreira; and his parents-in-law, Antonio Borges Meneses, Carmina and Conceicao Martins Meneses. He is also survived by his many relatives and friends.
