It is with great sadness that we announce the death of José Ferreira (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of José Ferreira to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Alves Ferreira and Leonor Goncalves Gomes Ferreira. He is survived by: his wife Maria Carmina Meneses Ferreira; his children, Fatima Ferreira (Joao Paradinha) and Charlie Ferreira (Janice Lycoyretzos); his grandchildren, Simon Paradinha, Vanessa Ferreira and Anthony Ferreira; and his parents-in-law, Antonio Borges Meneses, Carmina and Conceicao Martins Meneses. He is also survived by his many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "toronto Chapel" (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E3R7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Clare Church (1118 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E3M6).
