Jose Tavares Obituary

The memory of Jose Tavares (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid adieu to Jose's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jose has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He is survived by: his wife Maria; his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Trixie; his siblings, Francisco, Maria and Antonio; and his grandchildren, Christian and Antonio.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "toronto Chapel" (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E3R7). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Helen's Roman Catholic Church (1680 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6K1V3).
