He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret (late Stafford), Bernard (late Yvonne Tat), Andrew (Mitzie) and Rozalind (Mark); his children, Neil, Rose, Graham (Patricia) and Rolf (Monika); his grandchildren, Alexander, Christian, Melina, Aidan and Nathan; and his uncle Lucas. He is also survived by uncle to his dearly held nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Covenant House and Guyana Christian Charities or a charity of your choice in memory of Joseph Anthony Castanheiro will be appreciated by the family.
