Joseph John Ratchford Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph John Ratchford (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joseph John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Eva; and his siblings, Alice, Nona and Charles.

He is survived by: his children, Patti (Brian), Matthew and Kathleen (Greg); his granddaughter Kate; and also Sheilah.
