He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Donna Gallant; and his son Jesse Peter Gallant. He is survived by: his son John Gallant (Karley); his sibling Gail (Joe Visele); his nieces and nephews, Edmonton and Toronto; and his grandchildren, Daniella Joyce Gallant, Aubrey-Lynn Lee Deck, Freya Olivia Gallant, Dustin Joseph Gallant and Madelynn Mary Gallant.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Arthur B. Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8V1K3). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
