It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Simpson (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Sandra; and his brother Douglas. He is survived by : his spouse Shirley; his children, Dawn (Rob) and Joe (Angie); his stepsons, Brent and Craig (Michelle); his grandchildren, Taylor, James, Kyle, Brooke (Brock), Chloe, Rory, Jaime, Dustin and Ashley; his sister-in-law Wendy; his niece Tracy; his nephew Mark; and his siblings-in-law, Ed (Kay), Perly (Pat), Helen and Merina.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or Toronto General Hospital will be appreciated by our family.

James Skerratt wrote a sympathy message

“I was a classmate with Roy at Bathurst Heights, we specialized in Mechanical Drafting, thereafter in the mid 1960s my wife and I had some social get together with Roy and Sandra, at that time they lived on Rumble Ave.,Richmond Hill. Kids happen and we each went our own way. He was a great guy sorry to just see of his passing at this time. James (Jim) Skerratt.”
