She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Antoni Zagol and Eleanora Zagol; her siblings, Annie, Marion, Joseph and Mary; her husband Frank John Karpiel; her children, Frances (Joe), Ronald (Deb), Edward (Susan) and Constance (Kotek); her grandchildren, Milan (Angela), Stefanie, Kimberley, Cameron (Crystal), Patrick (Erin) and Lisa (Brett); her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Maya, Memphis and Burke; and her caregivers, Gillian, Ruby, Bernadette and Gigi.
In honour of Julie's generosity and deep compassion, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross in lieu of flowers.
