He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his son Michael; and his parents, Mike and Maria. He is survived by: his child Laurie (Justice Michael Waby); his grandchildren, Eric, Nicholas Gonet, Olivia, Emma Waby and Sid; and his friends, Walter and Osgoode Hall.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4).
