We announce the death of Kathleen Gwynneth Marion Skey Thompson (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 45. She was predeceased by: her father Michael Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Lynda Thompson; her husband Daniel Cudlip; her sons, Charlie McCubbin and Jackson Cudlip; her siblings, Laura Thompson (Frank Rekrut), James Thompson (Stephanie Unwin) and Aaron Thompson (Tara Meyer); her nieces and nephews, Michael Rekrut (Lydia), Annabelle, Timmy Thompson, Molly and Olivia Thompson; her great-nephew Theo Rekrut; her cousin Natalia Aurnhammer (Greg Lever); Colin McCubbin. She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Douglas Wright Foundation (https://www.douglaswrightfoundation.ca), which is devoted to fighting melanoma cancer in Canada, as Doug was among the dearest of Kate's friends.
