He was predeceased by: his sister Catherine Ruth Hein. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his brothers-in-law, Philippe Hein, Bill Yates (Dana) and Ron Yates Jr. (David); and his nieces and nephews, Richard, Patrick, David, Alex, Ian, Sashie, Rylan, Ethan and Logan.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood or to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.
