With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kristin (Stina) Gisladottir (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Kristin is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kristin's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Arnadottir and Gisli Gudmundsson; and her close friend Lou Teglas.

She spent her life willing the good of the other and in this spirit, memorial donations to St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto, in Kris' name would be appreciated.

While I was in Nursing school, I looked after Kristins Mom Margaret and cooked for them both too in her lovely home in High Park. I too lived in High park at the time. I'm in my mid sixties now but had such fond memories of them both since I was 10 years old. God speed Kristin, you will be missed.
