Kwan Ming Iu Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kwan Ming Iu (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Po Yat Iu; her brother Sze Chik Luk; and her son-in-law Kenneth Danson. She is survived by: her husband Po Chiu Iu; her sister-in-law Shiu Ling Iu (Betty); her nieces and nephews, Alvin, Simon (Jodi), Howard (Ines) and Jean (Rick); and her grandchildren, Andrew (Georgina), Matthew, Nicole, Adrienne and Sebastian. She is also survived by friends and extended family and for her pride in her grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of Helen's life will be deferred until it is safe to gather again.

Kwan Ming (Helen) Iu passed peacefully on January 18, 2021 at the age of 93 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
