In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura Moniz De Melo is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura Moniz De Melo's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingos and Deolinda. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cindy (Ricardo), Kevin and Jimmy; her siblings, Celeste and Eduarda; and her husband Miguel.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Visite Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M6N3B8). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
