He was predeceased by: his spouse Toba Weinstein; his sister Lucia; and his siblings-in-law, Isadore Horn, Sonia, Morris Lifschutz and Harry Weinstein.

He is survived by: his children, Miriam (Allan Gordon) and Zena Buchwald (Brad Frey); his grandchildren, Lynne, Shane, Brian, Cooper and Walker; his great grandchildren, Nicole and Ben; and his siblings-in-law, Sam, Ann Weinstein and Claudine. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
