“I’ll remember Leo (or just “Sonatin” as he was known back then) as a giant of a man both in stature and spirit from our times together soldiering. He always had a big grin on his face through all the blood, sweat and tears of being junior Privates in the army. I’ll remember his fondness for army engineering (Chimo?) and being so happy to hear he’d pursued a career in policing with TPS and fittingly, later, as a bomb tech. Leo - you will be missed by your family, friends and colleagues.”
