She was predeceased by: her mother Anne Bower; her husband Ted Muystra; and her son Matthew Cooper. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Meredith Cossitt; her stepchildren, Stephen Muystra, Christina Muystra, Karen MacKay and Lorraine; and her caregivers, Shekooh, Danielle, Charlene and Andrew.
