She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Simon; her parents, Col. Vicente Macatangay and Severina Alejo Macatangay; and her siblings, Eddie and Tita.
She is survived by: her siblings, Linda, Noy, Rolly, Charito and Millet. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, and other relative and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jerrett Funeral Home (1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1B1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Jerrett Funeral Homes (1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1B1).
