It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucia Capobianco (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucia Capobianco to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Capobianco; her parents, Leonardo Menecola and Maria Menecola; her brothers, Lorenzo and Giovanni Menecola; and her daughter Lucy.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley (Besa), Leo (Kathy), Tony (Julie), Maria (Tom) and Rose (Pedro). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (61 Jutland Rd, Etobicoke, ON M8Z2G6). An entombment was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W5T1).
