Lucia Duarte Obituary

We bid farewell to Lucia Duarte (Toronto, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Lucia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughters, São (Carlos) and Guida; her grandchildren, Tania (Peter), Marlene (Gary), Kevin and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Julian, Leah, Arynn and Raquel Lucia; and her siblings, Manuela, Lina, Hortense, Delfina and Adelino. She is also survived by her brother-in-laws and sister-in- law and many cherished nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral Home (366 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M5T 2S6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church. An entombment will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery - Blessed Virgin.
