He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Rice and Margaret Rice; and his wife Eta Melody. He is survived by: his children, Paul (Christine), Michael, Denise and Adrienne; his grandchildren, Maeve, Kate and Iain; his great grandchild Caitriona; his sister Kathleen; his sibling's children, Marguerita and Sean Kilgallon; and his sisters-in-law, Anna and Ethel.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (2 Richardson Ave, Toronto, ON M6M3R4). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
