He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his son Antonio; his daughter-in-law Maria of Fatima; his daughter Cidália; his granddaughters, Cecilia (Daniel) and Daniela; his great grandchild Olivia; and his daughter Fernandinha.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Church (706 Old Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M6N3B8).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Manuel's memory may be made to the SickKids Foundation.
