She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Jane (Smith) and Edward David Machan of Atwood; her husband Robert John Simpson; and her siblings, Donald, Douglas Machan, Lavar Snyder (Dave), Delores Clarke and Reta Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, MaryJane Collins (Bob) of Toronto, Paul Simpson (Doris) of Calgary and John Simpson of Cape Coral; her grandchildren, Sean Smeaton-Collins (Kerri), Stuart Collins, Ashley Simpson (Brandon), Sarah Cortes (Franco), JT Simpson and Katlyn Simpson (Blake); her great grandchildren, Luca and Ava Cortes; and her in-laws, Margaret Ann, Gordon Dickieson and Ross Clarkson. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
