She was predeceased by : her husband Tom Donches; her parents, Stavros Sokmas and Anastasia Sokmas; and her brother Peter Kouzos. She is survived by : her children, George (Helen) and Chris (Ann).

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Rd, North York, ON M2N5Z5).
