In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria had on those she encountered along her journey. She is survived by: her husband Faustino; her daughters, Lily (Luis) and Delia; and her siblings, Beatriz and Joaquim. She is also survived by the many family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Maria's passion for the Casa Magellan project in Toronto (whose mission is to build and operate continuing care residences and affordable housing for Portuguese-speaking seniors), we invite those who wish to donate to the Magellan Community Foundation.
