She is survived by: her children, Lidia (Domenic) and John; her grandsons, Daniel and Cristian; and her siblings, Pasquale (Monica), Michele, Caterina (Pasqualino), Elio (Isabella) and Silvia (Silvio). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Maria Funaro to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
