With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Garofalo (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Carlo; her children, Joe (Rose), John (Marina) and Anna (Phil); her grandchildren, Lorraine (Ralph), Robert (Ashley), Maria Christina (Marcello), Carlo (Sabrina), Josephine (John), Frank (Rebecca) and Diana (Mario); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Mark, Hudson, Grayson, Sofia, Lorenzo, Vienna, Marco and Mia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Epiphany of Our Lord Parish (3200 Pharmacy Avenue, Toronto, ON M1W3J5). An entombment was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T2C7).
