In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria Giovanna had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Maria Giovanna may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Olivia and Lily; her parents, Trifone Macchia and Carmela Macchia; and her siblings, Enzo (Nella) and Joseph.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation Elevated.
