Maria Ida Prete Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Ida Prete (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Carmine; her children, Melina (late Rinaldo), Mike (Lori), Anna (Elio), Sam, John (Cosimina) and Robert (Lucy); her grandchildren, Romolo (Julie), Remo (Romina), Romina (Paul), Adam (Masiel), Christopher (Jessica), Timothy (Laura), Marc (Nancy), Michelle (Dino), Marianne (Ryan), Carmine (Shannon), Laura, Matteo and Lucas; her great grandchildren, Dante, Mia, Selena, Jacob, Angeline, Noah, Julian, Madeline, Mikayla, Mariah, Nicole (Cole), Stella, Giuliana and Matteo; and her great great grandchild Maverick. She was also cherished by in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Baycrest Hospital Foundation. Donations are being accepted for: HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO) BAYCREST HOSPITAL.
