With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Rodela (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo and Rozina; and her brothers, Bruno (Mara) and Vinko. She is survived by: her significant other Nevio; her children, Doris (Ken) and David (Dolores); and her grandsons, Aaron, Brendan, Adam and Jacob. She is also survived by her two brothers, her husband, son, and four grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L0K6). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Church (80 Shoreham Dr, North York, ON M3N1S9). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T2C7).
For those who wish, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Humber River Health Foundation, or a charity of your choice in memory of Maria.
