It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Spensieri (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Spensieri to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Iaizzo and Antonio Iaizzo; her siblings, John, Mario and Cristina; her sibling-in-law Michele Di Biase; her nephew Anthony Iaizzo; and her sons, Anthony Spensieri and Michael Spensieri.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis De Berardis (Robert); her daughter-in-law Mary Spensieri; her sisters, Rosa Di Biase (Benito) and Anna Braccio; and her grandchildren, Carlo, Laura, Amalia, Michael Jr., Angela, Paul and Stefano.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation Queen of Heaven (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome and may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any other charity of your choice.
