She was predeceased by: her spouse Yaroslow Tanchak; and her siblings, Eugene, Alexander, Anatole, Anna and Catarina.

She is survived by: her children, Myron Tanchak of Toronto, Ivan Tanchak (Alecia) of Oakville, Oleh Tanchak (Irene) of Ottawa and Taras Tanchak (Celine) of Stouffville; and her sister Lidia Bolivar (Paul) of Halifax, N. S.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
