She was predeceased by: her parent Emmett James; her husband Lorne Purves; her siblings, Tom "Windy" O'Neill, Barbara Feola (John), Terry O'Neill, Rita O'Neill Tipping and Maureen O'Neill; and her nephews, Kevin O'Neill and Greg O'Neill.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Maloney O'Neill; her sister Joan Murray (late Ernie Murray); her siblings' children, Tom, Emmett, Connie, Chris O'Neill, Lynn, Maureen, Kate, Paul, Mary Pat (Baldwin), Anne Murray (Irwin), John Murray, Dan Tipping, Mary Tipping (Foltz), Jim, Sarah (Benitz), Erin O'Neill, Seanna O'Neill, Megan O'Neill, Bill, Carolann and Ryan Mahoney; her brother Paul; Paul O'Neill (Linda Little).
