He was predeceased by: his parents, Luz Maria and Oswaldo Freire. He is survived by: his wife Celina; and his siblings, Bolivar (Gloria), Marcelo (Zoila), Yolanda, Washington (Janet), Jenny (Jose) and Mercedes (Humberto). He is also survived by nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
