Marta Szemley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marta Szemley (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Marta farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marta is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoni and Helena; and her husband Zbigniew. She is survived by: her daughter Beata; her granddaughter Karolina; her sister Barbara (Bogdan); and her nieces, Yvonne and Julia.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Arthur B. Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8V1K3). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
