Martha Cacalda Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Cacalda (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benigno Ricafort and Flora Ricafort; and her husband Alfredo Cacalda Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Onor (Mellie), Opel (Boss), Tess (Ramon), Belle, Susan (Tim) and Joy (Catherine); her son-in-law Boss; her grandchildren, Kernell (Ester), Lee, Janbee (Cyruss), Jill (James), Bo, Diana (Jon), Dex (Ashley) and Nanay; and her great grandchildren, Umar, Jaelen, Jonah, Charlotte, Nixon, Ellington, Boston, Harrison, Hudson, Isla, Coelho and Jett.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Timothy's Catholic Church (21 Leith Hill Rd, North York, ON M2J1Y9). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4). A reception will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3).
