She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sebastien Parlagreco and Frances Parlagreco; her brother Charles Joseph (Joanne); her sons, Karl James Wilkins and Mark James Wilkins (Barbara Franovic-Wilkins); her grandchildren, James Ivan Wilkins and Marisa Frances Wilkins; and her pet Mikey. She was also cherished by friend, she leaves many dear friends.

Her family is honouring her recent struggle with dementia through a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
