She was predeceased by: her husband Benson Waterman; her brother Charles James; and her parents, Charles James and Sheila James. She is survived by: her sons, Orlton Lawrence, Brampston Gushway and Roger Gushway; her daughters-in-law, Margaret and Maxine; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Daniel (Melanie), Shaddai, Jahel (Jozelle), Matthew, Michelle Nicholas (Shondelle), Camille and Julian; and her great grandchildren, Josius, Yara, Isaiah, Ava, Kai and Kayden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5). A reception will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5).
