As Mavis departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mavis. Though Mavis may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Mavis Cox and James Cox. She is survived by: her sister Deborah Tam (Debbie); her brother-in-law Thomas Tam; and her nieces, Megan and Caitlin Tam. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendrier Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7).
